Melacur kerana hutang Ah Long

Unknown | 3:23 AM | | Best Blogger Tips

Stop trampling on rights of sexual minorities

Open letter to the government of Malaysia for the protection of the rights of children and sexual minorities.

Muhyiddin Yassin
Ministry of Education

cc. Tan Sri Hasmy Agam, Chairperson, SUHAKAM

Your Excellency,

The Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (Forum-Asia) writes to you today to express our grave concerns over the Terengganu Education Department's decision to send 66 Muslim schoolboys with effeminate tendencies to a boot camp. Selected schoolboys have been sent to attend a “self-development course” which includes physical education and religious classes conducted by motivational speakers. We are deeply disturbed by this discriminatory action of the Terengganu Education Department against boys who behave effeminately.

We believe that the said action is a clear violation of the Child Act (Act 611), which was enacted in 2001 to fulfill the Malaysian government's obligation to protect the rights of the child. The preamble of the Child Act provides that “every child is entitled to protection and assistance in all circumstances without regard to distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, social origin or physical, mental or emotional disabilities or any status”. It also infringes the principle of non-discrimination in Article 8 of the federal constitution of Malaysia.

We would like to point out that the said action by the Terengganu Education Department, which seeks to regulate a specific tendency of the children, is against the basic tenets of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). Article 2 of the CRC stipulates that the government must ensure that “the child is protected against all forms of discrimination or punishment on the basis of the status, activities, expressed opinions”.
As Malaysia ratified the CRC in 1995, your government is obligated to uphold its commitment to the protection and welfare of children without exception.

In 2007, the Committee on the Rights of the Child pointed out that there were “insufficient efforts made to address discrimination based on sexual orientation” in Malaysia. The UN Human Rights Council also recommended the Malaysian government to de-penalize homosexuality during the Universal Periodic Review of Malaysian 2009.
To our regret, however, the Malaysian government is yet to demonstrate any meaningful effort to stop discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. Furthermore, we are extremely appalled that the discrimination has in fact been practised by the educational agency of the government.

In addition, we are gravely concerned that the 66 children were singled out by their school teachers for displaying effeminate mannerisms.
Schools should provide a safe environment for all children, regardless of their personalities and tendencies. We strongly advise that all professional groups working with children (especially teachers and civil servants) to undertake regular education and training on protection of the children's rights, especially with regards to the provisions of the CRC.

Forum-Asia strongly urges the Ministry of Education:
  1. To respect human rights of all individuals, including children and sexual minorities without discrimination on any ground,
  2. To ensure that all schools provides a safe and fair environment for all children without regard to distinction of any kind,
  3. To withdraw all reservations on the CRC and amend all domestic laws in compliance with the CRC and international human rights standards and
  4. To intervene and immediately stop the boot camp programme for the effeminate school children; and to ensure the discriminatory action of such kind does not appear again.
Thank you.

Explicit sex now the last step for Najib in the bid to destroy Anwar

Unknown | 12:33 PM | | | Best Blogger Tips

UPDATE2 Segments of the pronographic video tape
allegedly implicating Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim - this time depicting explicit sexual acts - have surfaced on YouTube. The release of the clips appear timed to coincide with an the oath-taking ceremony at a mosque by one of the Datuk T trio - Shazryl Eskay Abdullah - and aimed drawing maximum public attention in a bid to destroy Anwar's political career.
The Datuk T trio are all members of the ruling party, Umno. They are linked to Prime Minister Najib Razak and former premier Mahathir Mohamad. There has been speculation the sex video scam was cooked up by the Umno elite to turn the Malay community against Anwar.
But it may have backfired as closer shots of the latest snippets show distinct differences in physique and facial features of the man they have accused of being Anwar, and who was filmed having sex with a prostitute.
"What else is there but to continue to push through the scam. Their object from day one is to tarnish Anwar and they don't care if it is true or not. They believe if they keep at it, the Malay community will believe in the scandal sheets that will keep insisting the figure is Anwar," PKR vice president Tian Chua told Malaysia Chronicle.

Using Islam for the worst purposes

On Friday, 4 clips of about 4 minutes each were uploaded on YouTube before they were taken down for obscene content an hour later. The clips showed the man having penetrative and oral sex with the woman.
After prayers, Shazryl is due to take thesumpah laknat at the Sentul mosque and he has challenged Anwar to do the same. His Datuk T team-mates - former Malacca chief minister Rahim Thambi Chik and Perkasa treasurer Shuaib Lazim - have balked at doing so, although they have given their support.
But other Muslims are offended at the manner in which the Umno elite are using the mosque for such obviously politically-motivated and morally-decadent purposes.
"In Islam, only the person who has been accused can take the oath and not the person who is accusing. Why is Shazryl Eskay taking oath? It is irrelevant. Let the MACC and the police do their work and we will just wait and see what will happen. According to Islamic law, what the Datuk T trio did deserves a heavy sentence because it involves not just the family of the victim, but it will also scar them to life," PAS MP for Kuala Selangor Dzulkefly Ahmad told Malaysia Chronicle.
"What Anwar and his family are going through is an emotional torture. This case should have already been on trial because the trio has already committed a crime and should be investigated under Section 292 of the Penal Code for screening porn in public."

Anwar: Police protecting sex video culprits, asked politically-linked questions

Anwar: Police protecting sex video culprits, asked politically-linked questions

Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim has accused the police of giving the distributors of the sex video that purportedly implicates him "protection".
"There was already distribution of a pornographic video and I think that the police gave the distributors protection. If not, it is impossible that the video clip can be distributed without police action and I had actually told the police about the crime of distributing pornography without pressure or action from the police," he told reporters.

He had been asked by the police to go to the Dang Wangi district police station to answer further questions about the sex video, which suddenly cropped last month ahead of the Sarawak state elections.

Three Umno members with links to Prime Minister Najib Razak and former premier Mahathir Mohamad confessed to screening the 21-minute video and claimed that they did so because they wanted Malaysians to know that Anwar was not fit to be a leader.

The 3 men calling themselves the Datuk T trio are businessman Shazryl Eskay Abdullah, former Malacca chief minister Rahim Thambi Chik and Perkasa treasurer Shuaib Lazim.

Anwar was accompanied by his wife and PKR president Wan Azizah Wan Ismail , his daughter Nurul Izzah who is also the Lembah Pantai MP and other top party leaders.

According to Batu MP Tian Chua, the police asked all sorts of questions.
“The questions asked by the police were political motivated and is coming from the Attorney General. The police has yet to arrest the Datuk T trio which leaves a trail of doubt from the people about their objectivity,” Tian, who is also PKR vice-president, told Malaysia Chronicle.

Women warned of sex stimulant in drink

Women warned of sex stimulant in drink
Women have been told to beware of having a drink with new-found male friends. Their drinks might be spiked with sex stimulants which would make them easy targets for rape.
The paper said the stimulants, which come in powdered sachets, were said to be commonly used by men in Kuala Terengganu.
The daily quoted a man named Ejoe, 25, as saying that the powder was extremely dangerous for women as they could be lulled into sex a few minutes after consuming it.
“I know of a friend who gave the spiked drink to a woman he had just met.
“Less than 15 minutes later, the woman invited him to have sex without being asked to,” he claimed.
A reporter who managed to purchase the sachet for RM15 from a Thai trader was told that he must use it only once to ensure its “effectiveness.”

Malaysia must stop its porn politics - it's now or never

Unknown | 4:08 AM | | | Best Blogger Tips

It is mind blowing. It is absolutely unbelievable. That a nation that proclaims to have a multi-cultural society with centuries old religious values enshrined in its many aspirations canopying the social and political fabric of the nation, is suddenly so obsessed with porn politics.
Malaysian politicians and the various responsible machineries of government must not only put an immediate stop to all these degrading, humiliating and despicable porn episodes after episodes, but must also be seen to be making urgent redress to the severly soiled and tattered reputation of Malaysians.
The Honorable Prime Minister as the Head of government must call the shouts loud and clear. Since the Sodomy I saga, years ago, we are continuing to witness so many sex and porn related sagas in the public domain. And of recent it has just gone too far for any decent human soul to accept.
We cannot go on and on assasinating political opponents through such base, inhuman, uncouth and despicable avenues like resorting to porn politics and doing so in the public domain.
The government and its entire team of honorable, God-fearing, people-respecting cabinet members too must rise to do battle with all the scum and porn politics that is making honest, loyal, humble and practicing faithfuls of the various denominations to cringe with pain and disgust.
Why are we allowing all these porn politics that now have hit another disgusting low of implicating and derogating the daughter of the opposition leader? Please, where is the strong arm of the law?
If all the leaders, guardians of law and order, and justice cannot plug this unending spewing of porn politics into the public domain that risks and corrupts the dignity of the young and old, then the religious leaders and all their faithfuls must take the bull by the horn.
If our chosen leaders cannot raise our human dignity in the eyes of our children and the world community then the citizens must take up the broom themselves and clean up all these porn political practices that seem to be the most favoured checkmate-startegy among certain quarters.
Citizens and leaders what do you say? How long more must we be wayside witnesses to these horrifying porn political games? Do we stop it or do we let it be? Do our leaders want to stop it or must the citizens rise together with responsibility and get that job done?
Or do we all lay back, relish and savour all these sickening, chocking and morally disgusting filth? Malaysians must make a decision. The choice to rescue our image and reputation is a categorical imperative. Either the elected leaders do it or the citizens must assume that responsibility to put the nation back on more respectable benchmark.

Deputy IGP not doing image of police any good with his threat

Unknown | 3:23 AM | | | Best Blogger Tips

Deputy Inspector-General of Police Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar is not doing the image of the police any good with his threat yesterday to “expose” the Carcosa sex video performer.

The Malaysian public are outraged and aghast that after more than a month, the trio of “Datuk T”, namely former Malacca Chief Minister Tan Sri Rahim Tamby Cik, Datuk Shazryl Eskay Abdullah and Datuk Shuib Lazim have not been charged in court for various crimes for the Carcosa sex video public screening on March 21, which they had confessed also more than a month ago, and yet, the most serious matter occupying the minds of the police is to “expose the sex video performer”!

Who are the police really serving – the Malaysian nation and public by punishing crimes and upholding the rule of law or the Barisan Nasional/UMNO political masters to dance to their latest tune to use the police to plumb to the lowest dregs of gutter politics in the history of Malaysia?

If the latter, I have no doubt that the overwhelming majority of the police officers and rank-and-file will recoil and feel thoroughly ashamed because it further besmirches the independence, image, professionalism, integrity and reputation of the Royal Malaysian Police Force when the most pressing and urgent challenge facing the Malaysian police is to restore public confidence in its independence, integrity and professionalism after the worst blot on police reputation and the “blackest” chapter in police history – the Anwar Ibrahim “black eye” episode in Bukit Aman in 1998!

The Carcosa sex video caper had been timed to wreak the worst possible damage against Pakatan Rakyat and the Parliamentary Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in the 10th Sarawak general elections – but the 416 Sarawak election results showed that its effect was virtually nil or Sarawak Barisan Nasional would not have suffered its worst Sarawak election results despite the six-day campaign by the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak and the entire Cabinet!

There are UMNO/BN elements who want to play “political games” with the Carcosa sex tape but why should the Police compromise its image and reputation by descending so low as to be co-opted into the cast of UMNO/BN theatrics against Pakatan Rakyat and Anwar Ibrahim?

Two questions confronting all right-thinking Malaysians are:

1.Why the trio of “Datuk T”, namely Rahim, Shazryl and Shuib have not yet been prosecuted for various crimes including Section 292 of the Penal Code for “publicly exhibiting any obscene or pornographic material” liable to a jail term of three years or Section 5(1) of the Film Censorship Act 2002 where a person is liable to be fined up to RM50,000 or jailed up to five years or both. Do the trio enjoy immunity and impunity for breaches of the law and actions which have brought world-wide shame to the nation?

2.Are the police “hand-in-glove” with Umno/Barisan Nasional forces to undermine Pakatan Rakyat by specifically targeting Anwar to destroy him as the foremost challenger to continued Umno/Barisan Nasional rule in Putrajaya?

Former Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Division (CID) chief, Datuk Mat Zain Ibrahim, who had proven himself to be a honest and honourable police officer fiercely loyal to Malaysian national interests, and who was subsequently victimised in his police career for his professional investigation into the Anwar Ibrahim “black eye” episode, has revealed that another Alleged Anwar Sex Tape2 had surfaced 12 years ago in 1999 to impugn Anwar’s character and reputation.

Zain had asked the Police to widen its investigations into the Carcosa sex video to ascertain whether there are any possible links between the two Alleged Anwar Sex Tapes separated by 12 years, together with seven specific questions, and posing the pertinent issue whether the Attorney-General Tan Sri Gani Patail can be trusted to discharge his duties professionally because of his past involvements in various anti-Anwar episodes.

Why is there total silence from the Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Ismail Omar and the Deputy IGP in the past 10 days to Zain’s Open Letter to the IGP dated 18th April 2011 when the duo are so prepared to comment on various matters under the sun?
